Extensive refurbishments planned for 2018

January and February 2018 will see a host of refurbishments and improvements across seven of our thirteen clubs.

Phases 2 and 3 of Witney Lakes Resort’s £1/2million investment will see a complete refurbishment of the Bistro and Sports Bar, including a complete redecoration, as well as new lighting, carpets and furniture. Phase 1 – an extensive gym refurbishment – was completed at the Oxfordshire club in late 2017.

Following the 2016 refurbishments to the ladies’ golf changing rooms at Castle Royle, near Maidenhead, the men’s changing rooms will soon be getting a complete revamp. This will include new lockers as well as new cubicles, vanity units and tiling.

At The Warwickshire and The Essex, the function rooms will be recarpeted and decorated.

Benton Hall in Essex can look forward to a refurbishment of their Pulse Bar, as well as a new carpet in the ladies’ golf changing rooms.

At The Tytherington Club in Macclesfield, a brand new Rohol sauna will be installed. This is a custom-made Austrian design, with shadow gaps in the benching to improve circulation, along with LED lighting and fibre optics. This new sauna will sit alongside the rest of the club’s extensive spa facilities, which include a Jacuzzi, ice cave and relaxation room. The club also had a £350,000 gym refurbishment in November 2017.

Finally, Woodbury Park in Devon will be receiving new furniture for the fireside and bar areas in their Atrium Restaurant.

These widespread projects demonstrate our ongoing commitment to improving and enhancing our clubs for each and every one of our members. We are incredibly excited to see and experience the full range of improved facilities.
