Castle Royle receives major renovation to golf and health facilities this summer
Castle Royle sees huge investment in golf and health facilities to improve experience for members, including new group exercise studios, Spike bar and gym refurbishment
Work on a long-awaited new holistic studio is now complete at Castle Royle in Reading, scheduled to launch this Friday 13th August. With demand for holistic classes continuing to rise, the new space will offer an extensive range of classes specifically designed to help members maintain a healthy mind and body. A new and larger Group Cycle studio is also in progress, with 15 brand new bikes arriving later in August.
A new gym floor will include the latest Technogym Excite Live cardiovascular machines, plus a new free weights area, stretch area and functional training zone.
Technogym’s Excite Live equipment offers a range of workouts and entertainment options, including the ability to browse the internet, connect with friends, watch shows online or charge a phone while working out. New machines include Excite Live Run, Climb, Recline and Synchro.
New SkillX gym-floor classes are also being introduced, offering small groups short, high-energy training to stay motivated. SkillX offers an exciting group training experience delivered by our highly skilled personal training team. Sessions deliver fast results for all ages and abilities, helping users increase muscle, reduce body fat or get stronger.
“Feedback on Toptracer has been excellent! It’s been wonderful to see so many new faces down at the club.
There’s good news for golfers too, as they’ll soon be able to enjoy the best practice facilities in the area next spring with an improved short game area which is bedding in nicely. A new Spike Bar then awaits to grab refreshments after a round, complete with a fantastic new glass fronted seating area due to be ready by the end of August.
For those seeking a quiet space to work, the existing pro shop is being converted into a dedicated hub for golf members to either work or conduct private meetings, with free WiFi and informal seating.
Some brilliant new artwork and signage is also being installed throughout the club in the coming weeks to brighten the space and help motivate members to achieve their goals.
