We have a duty to promote and maximise the biodiversity value of the wildlife and habitats of our golf courses.
We use minimal nutrients on the golf course, only applying fertilisers as and when necessary
We ensure chemical usage is kept to a minimum. Fungicides are only used during high disease pressure months. Herbicides are generally selective and applied once a year to certain areas, avoiding high flora and fauna areas
We’ve introduced bird and bat boxes, bug & insect hotels and bee hives
Areas of deep rough are left to grow for wildflowers and insects
We restrict our tree cutting to six foot off ground level when raising the canopy and only remove trees when absolutely necessary
